WINTER
Winter in Gressoney-Saint-Jean is dominated by the Monterosa Ski district. During this period the mountain is at its most beautiful and lovers of winter sports will find the best ski facilities that attract many fans of skiing at high altitudes every year.
Monterosa Ski
The ski area of Monte Rosa consists of 134 km of slopes for all levels, 6 easy slopes, 15 intermediate and 3 difficult slopes. Leonardo David slope, which was awarded the "best slope in the Alps" in 2009, is in Gressoney-Saint-Jean. You can easily walk to the ski slopes from our campsite.
Cross-country skiing
Camping Margherita is located right on the cross-country ski trail. In Gressoney-Saint-Jean there is a set of rings of different levels of difficulty connected to each other to give a total length of 22 km. You will be able to ski along the tracks while admiring the fantastic landscape with the old houses in the typical Walser style.
